The Coach House, Tenby is ideally positioned to discover the best of Pembrokeshire's stunning coast and countryside. A short walk from the property reveals the charming town centre with its historic walls, iconic harbour, and four superb sandy beaches. The Tudor Merchant's House (1 km) invites you to step back five centuries and experience authentic Tudor family life, whilst Tree Tops Trail in St Florence (4 km) offers exhilarating adventures as you swing through forest canopies, testing your agility and nerve. The renowned South Wales Coast Path begins nearby, offering endless opportunities for keen walkers seeking scenic exploration. Pembroke Castle (15 km), one of Wales' most impressive medieval castles, dominates the historic town with commanding presence and fascinating heritage. Milford Waterfront (23 km) welcomes families warmly with its vibrant mix of independent boutiques, fine dining, high-octane watersports and cultural attractions, all anchored alongside the area's fascinating maritime heritage.

Venture further afield to discover even more hidden treasures. St Dogmaels Abbey (45 km) showcases a magnificent twelfth-century ruin nestled beside the Teifi estuary in an authentic coastal village, whilst Gentle Giants Shire Horses (47 km) offers delightful experiences alongside these magnificent creatures. Ramsey Island Nature Reserve (47 km) reveals an unspoilt RSPB sanctuary with a stunning variety of visiting and breeding birds set against some of Wales' highest sea cliffs.

Just over half an hour's drive away lies Carmarthen (34 km), proudly holding the title of Wales' oldest town. This historic settlement is steeped in Arthurian legend, as it's said to be the birthplace of the great wizard Merlin himself. Meanwhile, St Davids is 45 kilometres in the opposite direction and offers an entirely different charm as Britain's smallest city. Despite its modest size, this coastal gem houses a magnificent medieval cathedral and boasts a rich ecclesiastical heritage dating back over 1,500 years. Both destinations provide delightful day trips, offering visitors the perfect blend of Welsh mythology, ancient history, and stunning Pembrokeshire scenery.
