The Old Coach House, The Rhos is a Grade II converted barn with oak beams and a cosy woodburner in the generous well-furnished sitting room. The open-plan kitchen inspires chefs and has everything you need to create snacks or celebratory meals. Four tall stools are lined up at the breakfast bar for breakfast or cocktails before dinner at the formal dining table. There’s a second TV snug with corner sofa. Patio doors bring light into the space and offer rural views. They also provide direct access to the one-acre garden & terrace. Bedrooms include a double room with day bed and three king-size rooms, one with ensuite and roll-top bath.

The cafe serves excellent lunches with indoor and outdoor seating in the garden. Whitesands, Newgale and Freshwater West offer sand and surf while Druidston and Norton are quiet sandy coves for sunbathing and rock pooling. Walk the coastal path or take boat trips to nearby islands. Upscale Narberth is known for its boutiques, museum and delis and the Queens Hall has a programme of entertainment.
