Ty Melyn is just 400 metres from South Beach, arguably Tenby’s most beautiful beach. It’s renowned for its miles of soft, dune-backed sand and lifeguard-patrolled waters. It’s also home to a watersports school, cafe, restaurant, and bar, so you won’t need to leave the beach all day! If you do fancy a change, Tenby has four more beaches, all within walking distance. Plus, you can explore St Catherine’s tidal island and the ruins of Tenby Castle, board a boat to go sightseeing and visit Caldy or Skomer islands, explore Tenby’s winding shop-filled streets, or head out of town to one of the area’s many family-friendly theme parks.
